What is Hom-Tour?

Hom-Tour is a PropTech platform that helps you discover, explore, and reserve residential and commercial properties across Egypt through immersive AI-powered virtual tours — including off-plan units that are still under construction. We also connect you with verified developers and a network of lifestyle partners through our rewards program.

Is Hom-Tour free to use?

Yes. Browsing listings, viewing virtual tours, and using our AI search and comparison tools is completely free for buyers and renters. Hom-Tour generates revenue from developer partners and our rewards program partners, not from users searching for a home.

How does the virtual tour feature work?

For completed properties, we generate immersive 360° walkthroughs from on-site photography. For off-plan properties, our AI converts the developer's CAD floor plan into a furnished, interactive 3D walkthrough — so you can experience the unit before construction is finished. You can customize finishing levels and furniture styles directly inside the tour.

Can I trust the off-plan virtual tours to reflect the final unit?

Off-plan tours are AI-generated visualizations based on the architectural CAD plans provided by the developer. They are designed to give an accurate sense of layout, scale, and natural light, but final finishes, fixtures, and materials may vary slightly from the visualization. Always confirm exact specifications directly with the developer before reserving a unit.

What is the Hom-Tour Rewards Program?

Every time you inquire about a property, complete a virtual tour, or finalize a purchase through Hom-Tour, you earn Hom-Points. These points can be redeemed with our partner network — including home decor retailers, car dealerships, jewelry stores, and more — to help furnish and personalize your new home.

How do I earn and redeem Hom-Points?

Points are credited automatically to your account based on your platform activity (property inquiries, tour views, reservations, and completed purchases). You can redeem accumulated points directly within the app under the 'Rewards' tab, where you'll find current partner offers and voucher options.

Do Hom-Points expire?

Yes, Hom-Points remain valid for 24 months from the date they are earned. Unredeemed points that pass this period will expire automatically. You will receive a notification 30 days before any points are due to expire.

Is my personal and financial information safe with Hom-Tour?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data, and we never sell your personal information to third parties. Please see our full Privacy Policy below for details on what data we collect and how it is used.

Does Hom-Tour charge commission on property sales?

Hom-Tour does not charge buyers any commission or fee for using the platform. Our revenue comes from developer partnerships, premium listing placements, and our rewards program partners — never from the buyer's side of a transaction.

Can developers list their properties on Hom-Tour?

Yes. We welcome verified real estate developers and licensed brokers to list properties. Developers can apply through our 'Partner with Us' page, and our team will guide you through the verification and onboarding process, including virtual tour production for your listings.

What areas in Egypt does Hom-Tour currently cover?

We currently cover New Cairo, the New Administrative Capital, 6th of October City, Sheikh Zayed, and the North Coast, with continuous expansion into Alexandria, the Red Sea, and other major markets. Check the app for the latest coverage map.
